Faculty Teachers
At least two features make Ayama’s team special. First is the long-term collaboration that connects us and second is the diversity in the style of the teachers. All our teachers are registered with Yoga Alliance and distinguished for their authenticity, knowledge and experience.
They have many years of education and many years of teaching experience while at the same time they remain anxious students. They know well how to guide you safely and stand out for their creativity and generosity.
We are well aware that this is a life education and not just a seminar. Every class, every practitioner, every breath, is something special for us. We are happy to offer our undivided attention to each student and support your development.

“Through my practice and experience I have come to realize that the greatest gift given to us in this life is Breath. A unique “bridge” that connects our Body, Mind and Spirit. Breath in Greek is called Anasa, so one day I had an inspiration for a play on words, which occurs only in the Greek language (!). “Asana begins with Anasa (breath)“. It characterizes the way I approach my yoga practice today. From this starting point I seek to balance the two opposite aspects of human duality, the earthly/material aspect with my divine/spiritual. Always looking for a new balance between Effort and Expectation.”

”Yoga is an art. Within the asanas I see sculptural bodies pulsing and colored by the vibrations of prana. Breath rhythmic with the personal sound of each of us is the music of life. Through vinyasa I discover the divine dance of the soul. In meditation I feel the poetry of the universe. For me, yoga is the art of “HIS” and I communicate this through every practice I lead.”

“I was born in France and have lived in Greece for over 20 years. I speak Greek, French and English. As a Yoga teacher I believe that the philosophy and techniques of yoga are a foundation and practical tools in the service of aligning the mind, body, soul and heart so that our lives and behavior are authentic reflections of our higher selves. . Through the exercises, we can discover who we really are, as well as our interaction with life and life with us. Free spirit, explorer… I took different styles of yoga classes. Stability, flow, safety & warmth are the hallmarks of my class atmosphere.”

“My passion and yearning for yoga and spirituality made me visit India for the first time in 2015. I visited Mysore (South India), where I was trained in Ashtanga Yoga, under the guidance of the yogacharya Ramesh Shetty, disciple of Shri BKS Iyengar, and Praveen Somu, disciple of K.Pattabhi Jois. In Mysore I met Saurabh Chaudhary and together we developed the vision of establishing a Yoga School.”

”From a young age I had and still have the curiosity to learn the possibilities of the human body. While I was growing up, my desire to know the way our body works as well as my desire to provide care and help to others led me in 2008 to the School of Physiotherapy, in Patras. During that time I started my first yoga lessons. The awareness that we can gain in combination with the strengthening and stretching of the body, led me from the first moment to look for how I could combine it with physical therapy and more specifically as part of rehabilitation through therapeutic exercise. As part of my training, I conducted a research (Systematic Review) on the therapeutic effects of yoga in musculoskeletal diseases. The final conclusion of the work was positive for yoga.”

“My love for yoga is endless like yoga itself, it was and still is a tool to build the awareness of where my body and mind are in space. Using the asanas (physical postures) I get to value the breath as a great vital force and energy that runs into the body mind … Through years of practice I got the strength and confidence to move on out of the mat, and experiencing life with a more balanced perspective engaging and releasing as needed.”
