Payments, Cancellations & Refund Policy
Definitions
“You” refers to the user of this website and its related services, and as such you have the right to use this website subject to your full agreement of the applicable Terms of Use described in detail below. As used in this Agreement, “student” refers to the person that books a service through this site, “we” and “us” refers to ‘Ayama Yoga Training’, which is the name of the school. “School” also refers to ‘Ayama Yoga Training’. The services provided in this website are under the company name ‘EY ZIN’. “Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Yoga Teacher Training or Yoga Retreat, including postponing or rescheduling, with Ayama Yoga Training. It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

Participants are responsible for their own travel and medical insurance.
Deposit
The price of the Yoga Teacher Training will be set out in your Booking. Our prices may change at any time, but price changes will not affect a Booking that we have confirmed with you.
We require a non-refundable €500 deposit (incl. transfer fee) to secure your booking and process your application. If an applicant is not accepted the deposit will immediately be refunded, minus 50€ for processing fees.
If the training courses do not take place because of only 8 students or Force Majeure, we will refund your deposit in full, minus 50€ for processing fees.
In all other cases, we cannot refund the deposit. We will deduct the deposit from the total tuition of the course.
The balance of the course fee must be paid up to 1 month prior to the start date. If not, the student’s place may be given to someone on the waiting list and the deposit forfeited.
Bank transfer fees are to be paid by the students. All payments should be made net of any bank charges and transfer fees.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel your training for personal, health or professional reasons after the training has started, you may finish the training in another Ayama Yoga Training, without any extra costs. (As long as you have paid the standard cost.) The commenced training is due in full, there are no returns of payment once you have started the training.
If you submit a cancellation or termination of training, this needs to be received in writing by us. You may email ayamayogatraining@gmail.com with your cancellation request.
Any refunds will be processed 30 days after receipt of your written cancellation in consolidation with the deadlines below:
Refund Policy (exclusive deposit)
- Up until 4 months before the starting date of the training – 100% refund (excl. deposit)
- 4 months until 3 months before the starting date of the training – 70% refund (excl. deposit)
- 3 months until 2 month before the starting date of the training – 50% refund (excl. deposit)
- 2 months until 1 month before the starting date of the training – 25% refund (excl. deposit)
- After 1 month before the starting date of the training – no refund
No refunds apply if you do not show up or if you leave a program early for any reason. We also reserve the right not to credit students with Yoga Alliance USA certifications if you do not meet all the criteria for graduation from the program or adhere to the course rules – in this case no refunds will be made.
Ayama Yoga Training reserves the right to issue a refund in exceptional situation, however a small fee will be deducted from the refund.
CANCELLATION VIA AN AFFILIATOR PLATFORM
In case a student has paid through the Platforms of BookYogaRetreats or BookRetreats, the School as their ‘Organizer’ shall also process the refund through their Platform according to their Terms & Policies for refunding.
All Rights in relation to the Content of the Yoga Teacher Training will remain vested in the School. The student is not permitted to remove, make illegible, hide or modify notifications or statements with regard to Rights.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, this is why it is imperative to get travel and health insurance as soon as you have paid the deposit. Please make sure that natural disasters and personal injuries are covered in your insurance. We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.
Ayama Yoga Training is not liable to anyone in case the course is postponed or cancelled in the event of a natural disaster or other event causes a program to be moved, cancelled or otherwise changed.
If you are making any travel arrangement, we would advise you to subscribe to a flexible ticket or cancellation insurance as the School cannot be responsible to any cost incurred for cancellation of your travel.
Ayama Yoga Training reserves the right to cancel the yoga teacher training if necessary. If we have to cancel the training (e.g. less than the minimum amount of 8 students, Force Majeure, Corona), we will issue a refund (excluding your deposit) or change it to the next possible date with your permission.
